March 14th, 2009
House Of Blues  – Orlando, Florida

If you were unfortunate and not able to make it to the House of Blues for the Rock for the Troops Concert on March 14 2009 sponsored by All Access Music Magazine and Sound Chamber Productions, well then allow me to fill you in on a extraordinarily amazing show.  After entering the doors, I noticed the crowd began to pour in.  Right before the first band went on I peered toward the front of the stage, the barriers were in place and so was the audience.

The Circuit – May 09

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

words: Harmony Stalter

I have an addiction, a vice if you will, and it is called the local music scene.   After starting the search for something to do, in my bored state of mind, almost 3 years ago I stumbled upon the music scene.  Since then I can’t stop!  The more bands I see the worse the
addiction gets.

Deflagration – A Call To Arms CD review

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Straight out of Ohio, and these guys mean business!  With a true self-described “Dirty Heavy Metal Swagger” they will grab you, eat you up and spit you into the pit.  Deflagration held back nothing on this disc and take metal very seriously.  Each song is strong and aggressive the way it should be.  The combination of hardcore and old school style metal keeps them at the forefront of the metal scene throughout Ohio and surrounding areas.  And now we, in the Southern states, can see what they are all about. Currently, they are in the studio working on some new stuff and I am sure it will be killer.

Back From Ashes – EP Review

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

First off I have to give props to this band and their promotions crew for constantly keeping the bands name out there!  This EP is a sneak peak from their upcoming album.  The band has that powerful hard rock sound that just rips into some serious aggression.  With some well written lyrics and hooks will get you singing along after a few listens.  The Ep I received only had 3 tracks…but that is all I needed to want more from these guys.  Back From Ashes, will give you a swift kick in the ass!  Hailing from Arizona you can feel the heat coming off of this band.  Keep an eye out for this one.  Thanks to Metal Music Promotions for hitting us up!

OBITUARY – Darkest Day

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

Release Date: June 30, 2009
When OBITUARY announced plans to record a new album in early 2007, the metal world stood up and applauded. One of death metal’s crown jewels was returning and fans couldn’t have been more enthused. The album, Xecutioner’s Return, delivered the goods as only OBITUARY could. Now, two years later, the band returns with eighth full-length Darkest Day. Signature in every way, the record proves the band gets even better with age.
