MEGADETH – Endgame review

Monday, August 31st, 2009

The scorching new album from Megadeth ‘Endgame’!

This disc is their best work yet…since Rust in Peace! From the first track you know you are in for something! Dialectic Chaos is an epic 2-minute instrumental crammed with blazing solos! Chris Broderick is a great axeman, this Megadeth track has blistering trade-off solos. Between the two of them it is nothing short of mind-blowing.

Suffocation – Blood Oath review

Friday, August 28th, 2009

As brutal as ever. Long time New Yorkers, Suffocation are back with Blood Oath.  Suffocation is here to crush all in its path.  Frank Mullen has reinvented the metal growl, the guitars are amazing and drummer Mike Smith’s speed and ferocious assault on double bass drums are CRAZY!  There is  just enough of a mix of fast and slow to keep the listener on his/her toes.

One thing sets these guys apart from other bands is the tightness of their live show.  It is just incredible. This disc is raw and powerful…

Check out our interview with Mike Smith in the October issue!

Blood Oath gets 4 of 5 stars!  Badd Ass.
