DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara is featured in the latest issue of High Times Magazine. Following is an overview of the article:   Medical Marijuana practitioner and advocate Dez Fafara talks about his pot history and the affinity between weed and DevilDriver with High Times Magazine.

In the issue out on newstands now, High Times’ Bobby Black sets the stage for what this spread in the magazine means to Fafara.”The band’s songs have been featured on the TV show Scrubs and the hit video game Rock Band, and their latest album, Pray For Villains, debuted at No. 35 on the Billboard 200.” writes Black.

ALICE COOPER To Present At Grammy Awards

ALICE COOPER will present the award for Best Rock Album, alongside KATY PERRY at this Sunday’s Grammy Awards.


Bands nominated in the category are AC/DC, ERIC CLAPTON & STEVE WINWOOD, GREEN DAY, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND and U2.
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live starting at 8 PM (ET/PT) on CBS.

No Savatage reunion

Jon Oliva says NO to a Savatage reunion.

However, Oliva does recommend that Savatage fans check out Festival, the fourth album from his band Jon Oliva’s Pain, which is issued via AFM Records on February 19.  Jon is also among the many guests to feature on the new Avantasia album, Angel Of Babylon, to be released in April.

Duff McKagan Joins Jane’s Addiction?

It appears that Jane’s Addiction have had a change of bassist.
Apparently, Eric Avery has quit, amid rumours that there has been some feuding going within the band. Given their turbulent history that’ll surprise nobody.
What might shock people, though, is that Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver/Loaded) has apparently been brought in to replace Avery, and he’s currently writing and recording with vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins.
However, none of this is yet official.
